Urban Ministry Opportunities

City Team Ministries
UM Coordinator: Sharon Alameda
12pm - 3pm

Volunteers will be serving a meal to homeless people from the community, helping to distribute clothing, and performing other services for the homeless as directed by CityTeam staff.


SF Food Bank UM Coordinator: Bill Belcher
8:30am - Noon
Volunteers will assist by inspecting, sorting, and packing donated food for distribution to those in need.

Bags of Love
UM Coordinators: Tara Baker & Kim Ojigbo
9 am - Noon
Volunteers prepare shopping bags with food, groceries, and personal hygiene items at the CityTeam facility. These “Bags of Love” are taken to single resident occupancy hotels (SRO’s) in CityTeam’s neighborhood for distribution door-to-door. Volunteers are grouped into teams for the distribution and may also have opportunities to talk and pray with the residents.
